Polyfest

Kia Ora, talofa lava, malo e lelei, fakaalofa lahi atu, kia orana, bula vinaka, namaste and greetings!!  It’s Pasifika week in Aotearoa, this means it’s a week long celebration of all things Pacific.  This includes the birthday dance we had with Mrs Tele’a!  Part of the celebration is the Polyfest!  This Thursday we are planning to travel to Manukau to take part in some workshops and then visit stages.  The two stages we will be visiting will be the Maori and Diversity stages.  Did you know that this event - the Polyfest celebrates 40 years since it’s beginning?  Awesome isn’t it!

whanau and young kids participate in these stages because it is there culture.Performers go through hard things to get people to watch them,  Learn the dance, Know the song to the dance, learn how to move and know where you're gonna be positioned and remember who you're next to, they had to learn all that to get perfect.

Polyfest promote our different culture because it shows creativity and responsibility in the dances.

I’m looking forward to polyfest because I want to see different dance culture because some are fast and some are slow.

My Goals For This Year

My goals for 2015 is to do get a better level at writing and maths so I can achieve my goals at doing anything to achieve my goals is to write more story's and use more strategy's for maths and to. Another goal for this year is to be faster at posting my blogs and to do that is not to talk or get distracted while doing my work.

My goals for this term is to participate more in class and listen more and to do that is to hear more and not to talk while the teacher is talking and is to respect people more. Also to get a higher level at reading to do that is to explain more story's and read more.

Good Bye 2014 and Blog Audience

Next week is the last week before our chrome books are taken away from us and goodbye blog audience I will see you again in 2015.It will take a long time till I get back and post more of my work and ill be in my new class and Mr. Somerville , Mrs. Jacobson and Mr. Goodwin and Miss Garden there the best teachers and one of the best that teaches us like young adults.

What we did for our reading activity is that we made a mosaics a mosaics is a picture that is made out of cracked tiles.

Space paragraph

A rock is coming for the satellite really slowly. Smash! the rock hits the satellite and it is falling to the earth were red flares started to show. The world is in serious danger just like in the dinosaur ages. 1 hour later the military base had an idea They had to explode the satellite in mid-air with a missile.”5.. 4… 3… 2… 1… Launch” The rocket fires at the red flared satellite. BOOM! The satellite explodes the world is saved.
