Jesus Was Born On Christmas Day

Over two thousand years ago there was a woman called Mary that lived in Nazareth. One day an angel came to Mary. Mary was frightened “Don’t be afraid” said the angel. “You are going to have a baby that is the son of God” said the angel. Then the Mary visited Joseph and told him the big news “We are going to have a baby called Jesus.”

Mary and Joseph had to go on a long journey to Bethlehem. When they got to Bethlehem it was full of people. So then they went to an innkeeper that like people that has no house so they had to live in a stable.

Finally Jesus was born and Mary put Jesus in the manger full of soft hay. Mary wrapped jesus and strips of clothes. Then the shepherds saw the angel appeared in the sky the angel’s said “There is a new king born today”. The shepherds rushed to Bethlehem to give presents to the new king Jesus. The three wise men saw a new star in the sky, which meant a new king was born. The star lead the three wise men to Bethlehem. The three wise men gave Jesus gold,frankincense and myrrh.
